The Church
The Church
St Mark’s is fully accessible, with a ramp leading from pavement level on Myddelton Square. There are lavatories including a disabled-access lavatory with baby-changing facilities.
The Church seats approximately 200 people in pews and additional seats.
St Mark's has a sophisticated lighting system and advanced electric heating which ensure appropriate lighting and temperature for every event. There is a public address system [?with inductive loop].
The organ and a grand piano are available to support musical events.
Please note that planned events elsewhere in the building may impact the availability of the Church for hire.
The Parish Room.
The Parish Room offers a cosy space for smaller meetings and has a fully-equipped kitchen. It is equipped with tables, chairs and armchairs.
Film Hire
St Mark's is a popular location for filming, and Myddelton Square is also regularly used for filming, for which St Mark's is often called into service to provide facilities for film crews and actors.
Crypts
At basement level, we have a number of crypts which can be hired for use as storage or workshops. The basement level does not have accessible access.
